Every evening this week has been a mad rush to pour drinks, grab food and get into the garden and to soak up as many of those beautiful warm rays as quickly as possible.
It's lovely! I feel as if every spare moment that I'm not at work I'm on holiday and this morning is no exception. Already the sun is blazing down and as I sit here with my latest book and freshest coffee I feel calm and comforted by the gentle kiss of sunshine upon my skin and find myself making as many excuses as possible to be outside all weekend long.
In a moment I'll put the washing on the line, take a leisurely shower and slip into something summery before heading into town to shop all things wool and fabric. Then I'm off to Hylands House for their monthly Coffee, Cake and Craft afternoon where I can sit with my kindred spirits and admire people's work and get inspired to do more of my own.
Later I'll slip into something pretty and summery to wear to my brothers birthday meal at an establishment frequented by none other than Sir Alan Sugar. Well, you know, only the best for our nearest and dearest :-p
And every spare moment inbetween you know where I'll be...
Just quietly catching the rays.
