Well my WIP list is ever-expanding but this weekend I am forced to rein in the willpower and discipline of saint as circumstances contrive to give me birthdays to craft for!
So my first completion is for a lovely lady who is visiting from Canada. She was so complimentary of an iPod sock I knitted a few months ago that I couldn't help but make her one too... but she leaves in a few days so my deadline (which, admittedly, I've actually had for months) was a tight one in the end!
It's a REALLY easy knit and really quick to stitch together so a couple of Knit & Natter sessions later and it was pretty much a done deal. Just hope it fits her phone now!
And now for something a little different!
I spotted on www.craftgosssip.com that someone had recreated a yarn-covered voodoo-esque doll and I thought - that's what I can make for my friends birthday!
So I had a look at the tutorial, had a little think and VOILA!
But then I had another little think and felt that the little dude was looking a bit... um... well naked.
So I knitted her a lovely pink dress to compliment her skin tone and a pretty flower-shaped button to detract from the, uh, evil vibe of being a voodoo doll.
And so, I present:
Pretty, Friendly Voodoo Doll!
So that's todays makes, tomorrow sees another gift WIP finish, an alteration to my top and a couple of new treats to make the weeks events more bearable.
Thank-you for your lovely comments before, speak to you soon xxx
