Hooray for this beautiful weather!
Boo to the fact I can't use either of my latest finishes ;0)
Oh well, this is England after all so it'll at least get cold in the evenings so I'll have plenty of opportunity to show off my cowls.
The first is what started life as a scarf until I realised I wanted to make a matching hat so stopped, stitched and, voila!, COWL!
My second cowl is made with double knit wool which doesn't look nearly as sumptuous as the Big Softie loveliness above.
But I love the colours and am happy with my first knit/purl project.
As you can tell, one was not feeling photogenic today ;0) despite spending yesterday at the spa... maybe the drive home made me sleepy.
We're off for a few days now thanks to the Bank Hols so I'm looking forward to a mix of relaxing days and busy social days and the finishing of some WIPs and, more than likely, start of others!
I hope you all have a lovely long weekend, I've got a few more things on the go, knitting and stitching, so I'll try to be more on it and upload pics etc.
Just one more before I go...
I got this in the post a while ago from my lovely friend in Oz after I said I was being a bit to thrifty to treat myself to pretty fabric
What a star! Now I just have to figure out what to do with it!
Until next time xxx
